Nu Horizons of Southern MN was established in 2008.

Nu Horizons of Southern MN was co-founded by Dan Wingert and Megan James.  Together they have a combination of education, sociology, and business management background.  Dan Wingert is the Co-Founder and CEO of Chemical Dependency Facilty that focuses on integrating the family unit as part of the rehabilitation process.  He continues his involvement with the Chemical Dependent Facility on a daily basis.  Megan James has a background in working in the corporate adult foster care industry as well as the home health and hospice program. 

Our Business

We offer qualified and experienced Staff that bring a combination of knowledge, patience, and heart to all of our homes.  

24 hour on-call LPN 's and RN's are provided to all of our homes.

A Dietician is also a part of our team.  She developed the menus and meal plans to maintain healthy and balanced meals. 

Our Executive Director continue to research and seek out changes & improvements that can be made to better accommodate the consumers in their homes. 

They strive to make a difference for the goodness and well-being of the consumers as well as the community.
