ELYSIAN is a small community that recently earned the good neighbor award.  It offers multiple lakes for fishing, swimming, boating, etc.  Lake Francis is known for its cleanliness and high recreation appeal.  If you enjoy walking or biking, the Sakatah State Trail is a local attraction too.  The community may be small, but with many eateries and local establishments you will find plenty of things to do, including the 4th of July festivities.  The city of Elysian's population nearly doubles for the celebration.
